Sunland Park mixes established neighborhoods, newer development, desert edges, and nearly 6 miles of Rio Grande frontage. That variety can change where pests find water, shade, food, and shelter. El Valle Pest Control combines family ownership, 15 years of field experience, flexible scheduling, and practical pest control for indoor and outdoor spaces, shaped around each property.
We keep recommendations tied to what the property shows, so every visit has a clear reason and a useful next step.

A pest sighting is only the starting clue. We trace where activity concentrates, what may be attracting it, and how pests are getting around. Around Sunland Park, irrigation, shaded walls, rooflines, garages, and outdoor storage can all change the picture.

Dry surroundings do not mean pests lack water. Irrigation, pet bowls, drains, planters, and small pockets of standing water can support activity close to buildings. Our Sunland Park pest control pros flag those conditions when they matter, then focus treatment where it can do useful work.

New construction, remodels, landscaping changes, and everyday wear can create fresh openings around a property. We look for cracks, gaps, sheltered edges, and other access routes that may deserve correction, giving treatment to fewer places to lose ground after the visit.
Sunland Park pest problems are not confined to one room or one species. The work of our pest control company reaches from kitchens and bedrooms to lawns, rooftops, food-handling spaces, and outdoor structures. El Valle Pest Control handles insects, rodents, pigeons, mosquitoes, nuisance wildlife, and lawn pests with service matched to where the trouble is occurring.
Sunland Park sits between the Rio Grande and the desert slopes around Mount Cristo Rey, along the border with Mexico. For pest control in Sunland Park, NM, property conditions matter. Some homes back onto open desert, while others have irrigated yards near the river, creating different pest pressures.
NMSU’s spider collection lists the western black widow among the venomous spiders of our region, and Texas A&M’s urban entomologists name firewood piles, unused grills, garages, and water or electric meter boxes among the places they hide. NMSU also notes that black widows are shy: females usually bite only when guarding egg sacs or pressed against skin, so most bites happen when someone reaches into a spot they can’t see. We remove webs and egg sacs within reach, treat the hiding spots, and recommend gloves when handling items in spider-prone areas.
Just across the state line, Texas A&M AgriLife counts ticks among the most common pests around homes in West Texas. The brown dog tick stays close to where dogs spend their time: kennels, dog runs, shady spots under porches and shrubs, and indoor sleeping areas. The CDC lists it as a carrier of Rocky Mountain spotted fever in parts of the southwestern US and Mexico. Our Outdoor plan covers ticks and fleas in the yard and around the house.
Homes near desert slopes, landscaped yards, or the Rio Grande corridor can present very different pest conditions. Our pest control Sunland Park techs inspect the areas pests are actually using, then choose residential treatment and prevention around the structure, yard, household routine, and current activity.
Businesses need pest work that fits the day instead of disrupting it. El Valle Pest Control considers customer traffic, storage, waste handling, food areas, entrances, and operating hours, then organizes treatment and monitoring around the practical demands of the site.
Long practice helps our local exterminators spot patterns before small clues get overlooked.
Prevention and follow-up give each treatment a longer useful life.
We adjust the plan to the pest, structure, and activity.
Covered pests that come back between visits get another look at no charge, under your plan's terms.
Sunland Park is in New Mexico, which licenses pest control separately from Texas. Anyone who applies pesticides for hire here needs a license from the New Mexico Department of Agriculture. El Valle Pest Control holds NMDA Commercial Applicator License #69126. In Texas, our business license is TPCL #0621082.

Did a great job with a pigeon control problem I was having around my solar panels. They not only humanely took care of the bird problem, they cleaned everything up and left my solar panels gleaming. 5 stars!![]()

I currently live in Arizona, but I have a two-story rental property in El Paso. After doing some research and getting a recommendation from a friend, I hired El Valle Pest Control to look at two roof swamp coolers. Because I am out of state, I explicitly asked for a quote for BOTH units and requested before-and-after photos of the work. When the day came to do the job, they finished one unit and then told me it would be an extra $200 to do the second one. I reminded them that the accepted quote was for two units. They claimed it was a misunderstanding, but thankfully they honored the original agreement and finished the job. When I received the invoice, there were no photos included. I called the office to request them, and the lady on the phone audibly sighed, acting as if my request was a huge bother. As an out-of-state customer paying a good amount of money, I can't operate on blind faith—I need visual proof of the work. I’m giving 3 stars because the actual physical work was great. Once I finally got the photos, I saw they did a thorough job vacuuming out the inside of the units (no water or pressure washing was used, as agreed) and installing mesh underneath to keep the pigeons out. Bottom line: The technicians do good work, but the communication and customer service need improvement. If you hire them in El Paso, make sure you or someone you trust is there in person to oversee the project.![]()

Very professional services. Very friendly and informative technician. I have not had a Pigeon problem since El Valle treatment 2 years ago. Pigeons had been a real nuisance before El Valle eliminated the situation. Thankyou for your prompt services. 😀![]()

Sunland Park sits at a rare tri-state, binational crossroads, and our service routes reflect that broader Borderland footprint. As a pest control company serving El Paso County and southern New Mexico, El Valle Pest Control supports homes, businesses, food facilities, and outdoor properties based on location, service type, and route availability.
El Valle Pest Control is the go-to choice for expert pest management in El Paso.
Yes. Our Ultimate recurring service plan includes termite monitoring, an annual termite report, and broader household pest coverage. The plan costs $79 per month with quarterly visits. Because pest activity and property needs vary, our El Valle Pest Control team can explain whether this option is right for your home.
Our Outdoor plan can cover mosquitoes, ticks, fleas, ants, exterior roaches, aphids, spider mites, and other outdoor pests. We inspect where activity is concentrated and treat the areas that need attention most. Service is monthly and costs $99 per month plus tax for homes up to 2,500 square feet.
Yes. Pest management can include more than pesticide applications. Our Sunland Park, NM pest control team may recommend sealing entry points, improving sanitation, removing food or moisture sources, and making other non-chemical changes. The right approach depends on the pest problem, property conditions, and what we find during the service visit.
Even in Sunland Park’s dry climate, small amounts of standing water can support mosquito breeding. New Mexico State University recommends regularly checking containers, gutters, barrels, pet dishes, and other places that hold water. Irrigation, drainage issues, and shaded areas can also create moisture pockets around a property that deserve attention.
Yes. A Texas license does not authorize pest control work in New Mexico. To serve customers legally, El Valle Pest Control holds a separate license issued by the New Mexico Department of Agriculture, license #69126. This allows us to provide pest control services to homes and businesses throughout New Mexico.
Leave it alone and avoid reaching into the web. Black widows usually bite when trapped against skin or disturbed while guarding egg sacs. Wear leather gloves when moving boxes or firewood. Call our pest expert to remove webs and egg sacs, treat hiding spots, and identify gaps where spiders may enter.
